WIC is a federally-funded health and nutrition program for women, infants, and children. WIC helps families by providing checks for buying healthy supplemental foods, such as fruit and vegetables, whole grain cereal and bread, beans, nuts, dairy products, and baby food. WIC also provides:
-Nutrition education at WIC clinics
-Supplemental infant formula for babies who are not solely breastfed
-Screening and referrals to other health, welfare and social services
-For pregnant and postpartum women (up to 6 months after pregnancy), breastfeeding mothers (up to child's first birthday), and young children (up to 5th birthday).
-Must have household income at or below 185% of federal poverty guidelines($46,345 for a family of 4).
-Must be determined to be nutritionally at risk by medical provider or staff.

How to Apply

Every household member enrolling in WIC must be present at the appointment. You must bring the following documentation:
-Valid photo ID for all adults
-Proof of pregnancy (if applicable)
-Proof of income (pay stub, tax return, or letter from employer)
-Proof of address (e.g., lease or utility bill)
-Birth Certificate for each child under 5 years old
-Vaccination record for each child under 5 years old
-Physician referral (if available, otherwise assessment can be done in WIC office)
