The DUI multiple offender is an 18 month program for court mandated clients. During the first 12 months of the program (Phase I), clients attend a two hour group counseling session every other week (26 sessions total), alternating with weekly 15 minutes individual sessions (26 minimum). Clients must also complete 12 hours of DUI risk education (six sessions of two hours each) and attend at least 26 self help meetings. During the final six months of the program (Phase II), clients attend a monthly hour-long Re-entry Counseling group. Clients may not have more than 10 absences over the course of the program.

-There is an enrollment fee of $65, with an additional program fee of $31 per week. A payment plan is available.

How to Apply

A referral is required. Referrals are accepted from the following sources:

-The Riverside County Drinking Driver Program (for any court case within Riverside County), or a court outside of Riverside County
-The Department of Motor Vehicles (Recent H6 Printout)
-A transfer form from another licensed DUI program

After you have obtained a referral, call 760-342-1233 to schedule your enrollment. It is vital that you call as soon as possible, because your case may be returned to court if you fail to meet your enrollment deadline. Enrollment is by appointment only and takes approximately one hour. To protect your privacy, enrollment must be completed in person, and you should arrive alone for your appointment. You must bring the following to your appointment:

-All court paperwork
-Driver's license or ID card. (If participant would like office to submit proof of enrollment to DMV, office will need license number and date of arrest/violation).
-Payment for services, in the form of cash, credit/debit card, money order, or check.

Once enrolled, you can begin attending classes within 2 days and must begin attending classes within 21 days. Classes are offered Monday through Saturday: you must schedule an appointment to determine availability.
