SunDial is a valley wide, curb to curb paratransit service for individuals who are unable to use regular SunBus service. The service accommodates riders with cognitive, emotional, physical, or visual disabilities. Vehicles are wheelchair accessible. See the SunDial brochure for more information.
-SunDial service is available within 3/4 of a mile on either side of any local SunBus route (not including Commuter Link 220 & North Shore Line 95).
-The fare is $1.50 for trips within a single city and $2 for trips within multiple cities.
How to Apply
Submit a completed ADA Certification Application to the SunLine office via mail or fax. The application includes a disability verification form that must be completed by your physician. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your application to be reviewed and approved.
Once enrolled in the program, call SunDial Reservations at 760-343-4231 between 8:00am and 5:00pm to make a reservation. Please be prepared to provide the Reservationist with the following information:
-First and last name
-ADA ID number
-Home and cell phone number
-Exact pick-up location (example: 123 Your Street)
-A telephone number at pick-up location
-Exact drop-off location (example: 456 Destination Street)
-Requested pick-up time. Pick up window is 20 minutes before or after requested pick up time.
-Any mobility aids you require (e.g., walker, wheelchair)
-Whether you will be traveling with an attendant and/or service animal
Once a reservation is made, request a confirmation number and the Reservationist's name.
