Mojave Monuments are national monuments providing recreational opportunities such as hiking, camping, and horseback riding.
-Castle Mountains, located between Mojave National Preserve and the Nevada state line, offers backcountry camping and developed campsites. There are no developed trails within the Monument.
-Mojave Trails runs from Barstow to Needles and includes Afton Canyon, Amboy Crater, Bigelow Cactus Garden, and part of Historic Route 66
-Sand to Snow, located east of Los Angeles, includes the Pacific Crest Trail, Whitewater Canyon Road, and Big Morongo Canyon Preserve.

-For Joshua Tree National Park, there is an entrance fee of $12 per person or $25 per vehicle for a weekly pass.
