Description
The Indio Public Library provides a variety of programs and services for Indio residents. The library offers a variety of media resources, including large print books, audio books, DVDs, CDs, newspapers, and magazines. The library is the desert’s resource for microfilm access to local newspapers as far back as 1890s. Equipment includes computers with Internet access, word processors, and copiers.

How to Apply
Walk in to sign up for a library card. You must provide:
-Photo ID
-Second form of ID (if your ID address is not current)
Children 15 and under may obtain a library card by returning an application form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
There is a $1 replacement fee for lost library cards. Out-of-state visitors may purchase a library card for $10.
