Description

The Betty Ford Center Family Program helps family members and loved ones begin their recovery from the effects of the disease of alcoholism and other drug dependency. This program is an intensive three-day experience (Monday-Wednesday) with group work, lectures and presentations addressing various dynamics of the disease. This program provides family members and loved ones with the skills and tools necessary to begin their own healing process and develop their own resiliency.

This program is available to any family member for loved one who has been, or is currently, impacted by addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs. It is not necessary to have a loved one in treatment to participate in this unique program.

  • For the family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction
  • Must be 13 years old or older to participate
  • Limited scholarship money is available for this program

The cost per family member/friend is $801.

Having a patient in treatment at the Betty Ford Center is not a requirement for participation in this unique program. However, the cost of participation in this program for one family member or friend is included in each Betty Ford Center patient's cost of treatment. For participants in the Young Adult Track, all immediate family members are included in the cost.
