Description

Angel View’s Day Program provides weekday services to adults with developmental disabilities. The program fosters participant independence and community integration through education, work, and social skills training. Restricted health care plans and nursing services are available as needed. Both ambulatory and non-ambulatory men and women age 22 years and older are accepted. Transportation to and from the center is provided. For more information, call 760-329-6471.

Eligibility

-For adults age 22 and older
-For residents of the Coachella Valley and High Desert

-Must have full scope Medi-Cal.
-Must have a “substantial developmental disability,” that originated before the age of 18 and will likely continue indefinitely.
-Those with disabling conditions that are solely physical or psychiatric in nature, or solely a learning disability, are not eligible for services.

How to Apply

Clients must be referred by Inland Regional Center. Contact the Inland Regional Center intake coordinator for your county to enroll. San Bernardino County residents, call 909-890-3053; Riverside County residents, call 909-890-3370.

Once a referral is received by Angel View, the Program Manager will contact the client to schedule an in-home assessment. The client will then be enrolled in the program or referred to an alternative resource as appropriate.

Services are covered by Medi-Cal. Some clients may pay a share of the cost, based on household income and other factors.
